Shows and stuff 9/8

Missed a week, sorry. The shooting that happened, and specifically the fact that the shooter had originally planned to hit a beloved house venue had me pretty rattled. It’s still pretty hard to talk about, hard to know what to say. Also it took me a while to get my head on straight after being sick like that. I’m a social critter, isolation was not good for me. I went to a pretty unbelievable show at Seward on friday that helped me process some shit. I’m mostly back to normal. Here’s some shows you should go to this week. I love you.

Tonight, SEP 9

Wanderer goes insanely hard. Like, the energy they bring is scary. You will know what I’m talking about if you go. It’s tonight, so sorry. I should have given you more heads up. They’re really good. Don’t be scared by the vibe they’re chill dudes.

Apparently fuckin Wet Leg is playing at First Ave on tuesday. You could go to that, they’re pretty fun. They probably don’t need me boosting them tho lol.

SEP 12

26 Bats has a great sound and a frontenby that needs to be seen to be believed. You will not be disappointed, they’re an absolute blast. Also the Cedar is probably such a pleasant venue. I should catch a show there soon.

The more I listen to Malamiko the more I want to listen to Malamiko. They’re absolutely fucking brilliant. Also like, what a cute fucking premise? Also SoulFlower is great. Basically I think this is gonna be so cute and fun. Please dress up at least a little for it :3 commit to the bit yanno?

Malamiko again babey. Pillar forum, we know and love. Ray Gun Youth didn’t blow me away last time but that’s no reason to skip the show. I think Magick Flavour Station is synthwave? The seward shows are basically always fucking astonishing. SLOG is tuff as fuck. I’m assuming the rest of this is gonna beat ass too. The rest of next week will be revealed next week.
