I’m so sorry, I feel like I finally have people listening to my recommendations and then the blog is a whole fucking day late this week. To get back in your good graces, I have so many insane recommendations for shows this week. So. Lets get into it shall we.

Sammie Jean Cohen is a folk vocalist with a truly tremendous voice. Clayton Ryan is backing her up on guitar. This show will be really nice and softer, if you’re grouchy I keep recommending loud punk shows. They’re really kind people too. You should go see them :3
JULY 31
The only name I know here is EVV but they were staggeringly good the one time I saw them. Icehouse is really fun to sit in. Come get some fucking bass guitar in ya.
AUGUST 1
Please come to this show. Please come to this show. Please come out of your house and to this show. This is going to be a good night of music. This is a good cause. The person who helped organize this told me she’s worried not enough people will come. If you were gonna do the hotdog thing last week and backed out cuz it was gonna be warm this one is inside. These 4 bands (Watches, Critterthing, Malamiko, and Soul Circuits) are some of the like, musically richest/smartest I hear, and they all have such interesting directions they take their music in. Please god come to this fucking show all of you.
AUGUST 2
Admiral Fox is playing again. Go see them. They often make me cry. No cover charge. 331 is adorable. I will be here, maybe even sans Kenny, so extra lonely and adorable. Come hang out. God damn admiral fox is so good.

J-Mo continues to be on that fuckin beat. Go see him he fucking rules. I don’t know any of the other people but if they have half the energy the J-Lighters bring, your socks are getting knocked off babey.

Fuck shit fuck I’m editing this in after I published the blog. Anita Velveeta is playing the final show at Pink Place ever (message me in some manner if you need the addy) and also mothafuckin SLOG is gonna be there. This show is gonna be TUFF. If you’ve been missing the mosh pits, Anita is gonna whip the queers into a frenzy. This is gonna be a pretty big deal, you’ll either have been there or you won’t have.
